Dave's Book
15/12/09 17:26
ALMOST 50 years on
from becoming a professional singer, Dave Berry is
preparing for yet another busy year of
performing.
He is to travel the length and breadth of Britain as part of the nostalgic Solid Silver 60s Show, taking in almost 60 venues between February and May.
To co-incide with the start of the tour, he is to launch his life story, “Dave Berry - All There Is To Know”, which reflects on his early days with backing band The Cruisers, touring with artists such as the Rolling Stones in the 1960s and the excitement of seeing his records become major hits not only in this country, but across the continent too.
Dave’s book features dozens of pictures and cuttings from scrapbooks which were painstakingly kept for him by fans and family members. There are also tributes from many of his fellow performers including Rolling Stone Bill Wyman and Ray Davies of The Kinks.
The book is being produced with the help of journalist friend Mike Firth and Heron Publications Ltd and will be available in February. To reserve a copy at
the special pre-publication price of £12.99 including postage, contact Heron Publications on 0114 2357777 or at mike@heronpublications.co.uk
